Looking for a Junior Technician with workshop based electrical experience to carry out aircraft component overhaul with a world leading airline based Cardiff airport. This opportunity provides you with the full training to work your way up to become a fully qualified Avionic Technician. - Assembly, disassembly & testing of electrical aerospace components as directed.- Appropriate hand skills to strip, clean, repair and overhaul electrical components.- Able to use basic test equipment on own workshops.- Applying component maintenance data in a practical manner.- Navigate online systems to complete mandatory training and review relevant compliance data.- Soldering & de-soldering where required.- To undertake any other tasks throughout the Production Department commensurate with your skills, experience and training.The ideal candidate: - Minimum of 1 years experience with electronics. - Relevant NVQ/GNVQ/C&G within an engineering discipline and 1-year relevant vocational training.- Exude a can-do attitude- Flexible and agile, always ready to adapt when things don't go to plan- Refrigeration or A/C Unit experience (desired but not necessary)
