We are delighted to announce an exciting opportunity for a Learning Support Assistant (LSA) to join our friendly and supportive primary school team located in the heart of Barry. This role is within our welcoming Nursery class, where you will play a vital role in supporting our youngest learners to flourish in a nurturing and stimulating environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide tailored support to children in the Nursery class, ensuring their individual needs are met.
  • Assist the class teacher with planning and delivering engaging activities that promote learning and development in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework.
  • Foster a safe, inclusive, and positive atmosphere for children to grow socially, emotionally, and academically.
  • Monitor and support children's progress, addressing challenges and celebrating achievements.
  • Work collaboratively with parents, carers, and colleagues to ensure the best outcomes for each child.
Requirements:
  • Experience working within a Nursery or Early Years setting (desirable).
  • A valid DBS certificate (Enhanced Disclosure) and registration with the Education Workforce Council (EWC).
