Job Description: Are you a qualified Welsh speaking Teacher with a passion for education? We are seeking an inspiring and enthusiastic Welsh Teacher to join our secondary school in the Bridgend area. The school requires a dedicated educator to ignite students’ enthusiasm for the Welsh language. This role offers an exciting opportunity to empower students to excel in their studies and become part of a vibrant secondary school! Key Responsibilities:

Plan, deliver, and assess high-quality lessons that align with the curriculum and cater to the individual needs of students.
Foster an engaging and inclusive classroom environment that encourages creativity and critical thinking.
Assess and track student progress, providing constructive feedback and tailored support.
Collaborate with colleagues to develop effective teaching strategies and share best practices.
Prepare students for assessments and examinations, equipping them with the skills and confidence needed for success.

Qualifications and Skills:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
Ability to teach through the medium of Welsh.
Proven experience teaching Welsh to GCSE level.
Strong subject knowledge and familiarity with the curriculum in Wales.
Effective classroom management skills.
Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities.
Dedication to cultivating students' language and literary skills and a genuine enthusiasm for the subject.

Working Hours:

This is a full-time position, Monday to Friday, following the school's operating hours.
