Job Description:  Are you a qualified Welsh speaking Teacher with a passion for education? We are seeking an inspiring and enthusiastic Welsh Teacher to join our secondary school in the Bridgend area. The school requires a dedicated educator to ignite students’ enthusiasm for the Welsh language. This role offers an exciting opportunity to empower students to excel in their studies and become part of a vibrant secondary school!     Key Responsibilities: 
  • Plan, deliver, and assess high-quality lessons that align with the curriculum and cater to the individual needs of students. 
  • Foster an engaging and inclusive classroom environment that encourages creativity and critical thinking. 
  • Assess and track student progress, providing constructive feedback and tailored support. 
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop effective teaching strategies and share best practices. 
  • Prepare students for assessments and examinations, equipping them with the skills and confidence needed for success. 
Qualifications and Skills: 
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification. 
  • Ability to teach through the medium of Welsh. 
  • Proven experience teaching Welsh to GCSE level. 
  • Strong subject knowledge and familiarity with the curriculum in Wales. 
  • Effective classroom management skills. 
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities. 
  • Dedication to cultivating students' language and literary skills and a genuine enthusiasm for the subject.  
Working Hours: 
  • This is a full-time position, Monday to Friday, following the school's operating hours.
