Level 3 Teaching Assistant - Vale of Glamorgan

We are seeking an experienced Level 3 Teaching Assistant to join a lovely mainstream primary school in Barry, working within a Special Resource Base (SRB) unit. This full-time role is perfect for someone passionate about supporting children with SEN/ALN.

Requirements:

• Must have experience working in a primary school setting.
• Ideally, previous experience supporting children with SEN/ALN.
• Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification is essential.
• Must have an Enhanced DBS and be registered with the EWC as a School Learning Support Worker.

Responsibilities:

• Supporting students in the SRB unit with their individual learning needs.
• Assisting the class teacher in planning and delivering engaging lessons.
• Providing 1:1 support for pupils with additional needs.
• Encouraging positive social interactions and helping manage behavioural challenges.
