Are you a compassionate and dedicated individual looking to make a meaningful impact in a young person's life? Axis are working with a school in Barry that is seeking a full-time Teaching Assistant to support a lovely Year 7 girl with a bespoke timetable.
Key Responsibilities:

Provide tailored support to a student with trauma-based needs, attachment challengesand cognition difficulties.

Encourage a caring and nurturing environment to help build confidence and a sense of belonging.

Bring fresh ideas and initiative to support the student's learning and personal development.

Work closely with school staff to implement strategies that address challenging behaviours when they arise.

Offer emotional and academic support, promoting independence and self-esteem.
Ideal Candidate:

Ideally mature with a caring and empathetic nature.

Experience or understanding of trauma-informed approaches and attachment difficulties.

Strong communication skills and the ability to build trust and rapport.

Confidence in handling challenging behaviours with patience and understanding.

A proactive and innovative approach to bring new ideas to the role.
