Position: Full-Time Learning Support Assistant (LSA)Location: BarryStart Date: ASAP

We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Learning Support Assistant (LSA) to join a vibrant primary school in Barry. This is a full-time position within a Foundation Phase classroom, offering an exciting opportunity to work closely with young learners in their early years of education.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supporting the teacher in the planning and delivery of lessons within the Foundation Phase.
  • Assisting with the individual needs of students, including those with special educational needs.
  • Helping to create a positive and engaging learning environment.
  • Providing one-to-one support to children in the Nursery/Foundation Phase.
  • Ensuring that all children are actively engaged and supported throughout their learning.

Essential Requirements:

  • Previous experience working as a Learning Support Assistant (LSA) in a primary school setting.
  • Strong experience working in a Nursery/Foundation Phase setting.
  • A passion for working with young children and supporting their learning development.

Desirable Qualifications:

  • Supporting Teaching and Learning (TA) Qualification or equivalent.

Start Date: ASAP - the school requires cover as soon as possible, so applicants should be available to start immediately.
