We are seeking a dedicated Art Teacher to join a dynamic secondary school team. This role offers the opportunity to inspire and engage students across KS3 and KS4, fostering their creativity and passion for art. Day-to-day of the role:- Plan, prepare, and deliver inspiring art lessons that cater to the needs of all students.
- Encourage creativity and self-expression among students through various art techniques and media.
- Assess and record students' progress, providing feedback to foster their artistic development.
- Maintain a stimulating classroom environment that promotes learning and creativity.
- Collaborate with other teaching staff to integrate art into a broader curriculum.
- Participate in school events and exhibitions showcasing student artwork.
- Engage in continuous professional development to enhance teaching practices and artistic techniques.
- Proven experience as an Art Teacher, with the ability to teach across KS3 and KS4.
- A degree in Art or a related field, along with a teaching qualification (PGCE, QTS).
- Strong understanding of the national curriculum for Art and Design.
- Excellent organisational and communication skills.
- Creative thinker with a passion for teaching and art.
