A great opportunity has arisen for an accredited Asylum & Immigration Senior Caseworker to join a well-reputed Immigration Law Firm.
They’re seeking applications from those who are enthusiastic about helping them to build their firm and services collectively and help to increase access to justice in Nottingham and the surrounding area.
You will have your own caseload, consisting of private and legal aid work.
To be considered for the Senior Caseworker role, you’ll require the following:
- Accreditation to Senior Caseworker under the Law Society Immigration and Asylum Accreditation scheme.
- Ability to manage own caseload including asylum applications, asylum appeals in both the First Tier and Upper Tribunals, fresh asylum claims, extensions of leave to remain and entry clearance applications
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to provide an excellent level of client care
- Excellent file management and compliance skills, including a high level of knowledge of the legal aid rules and Specialist Quality Mark in your day to day working
- Highly organised and able to multi-task

This is working for a niche firm of solicitors specialising in immigration law regulated by the Solicitors Regulation Authority. They were established by its sole principal, a solicitor with over 20 years experience in the field of immigration law and has a strong client following.
They operate a legal aid contract for asylum and immigration work and hold the Specialist Quality Mark. Operating out of modern offices in Nottingham they are committed to providing an excellent level of client care and services to their clients within a friendly and open working environment.
