A Nottingham based food manufacturing company are seeking an experienced multi skilled Maintenance Engineer working on perm NIGHTS for their modern production facility based in South Nottingham. Â
As a multi skilled Maintenance Engineer you will provide engineering support to the production area and be responsible for reactive and proactive maintenance of plant, equipment, and any auxiliary systems.
Role:
- Multi skilled, will consider elec or mech biased engineers
- 3on 3off – Nights only (12 hour shifts) (6-6)
- Opportunity to work in a modern manufacturer
- Salary of c£55k
Key responsibilities of Maintenance Engineer:
- Assist team to work towards maximum plant and equipment efficiency so downtime is minimised
- Ensure planned engineering tasks are delivered on time and in full
- Ensure good repair / manufacturing practices and procedures are followed
- Ensure completion of planned maintenance documents / CMMS
- Work closely with production staff to achieve daily targets
- Contribute to cost reduction initiatives to drive efficiency and process improvements
Experience and skills required:
- Qualified maintenance engineer with C&G’s or NVQ Level 3 or ideally ONC / HNC level
- Multi skilled, mechanical and electrical skills / experience
- Apprenticeship trained
- Proactive attitude to solving issues and supporting production
- Manufacturing / production experience required
