Our client is currently looking for a Commercially focused Accountant to join their team and to primrily oversee reporting to their parent company. This role will not be building the accounts, but acting as a bridge between the management accountant and the FD to check over the management accounts, check the impact of transactions through the balance sheet and ensure full accuracy before submission.
Typical duties will include:
To understand the operational elements of the business in preparation of Year end financial audit along with monthly HO reporting.
- Management Accounting Cost analysis
- Preparation of detailed cash flow forecast
- Data validation - consider balance sheet values - populate existing schedules and apply business intel to ensure accuracy
- FA register - completing current register and reviewing for accuracy along with making necessary policy changes
- Hire Purchase Liabilities - completing an existing file including the current position for accuracy
- Cost analysis
- Data template building in preparation of implementation of new finance system (Sage Intact)
- Assist in preparing comms with suppliers regarding invoicing and payment
Thi is a newly created role and is fairly urgent so you will ideally be immediately available or available on short notice. Our client is looking for a fully Qualified Accountant with strong Excel skills and good Sage experience.
