Responsibilities: As a Reporting Accountant, you will…

  • Take full responsibility for managing and executing the month-end and year-end close processes, including the preparation and review of all journal entries, account reconciliations, financial statement reviews, and internal control documentation.
  • Maintain the integrity of the general ledger by ensuring that all financial transactions are recorded accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Continuously review and improve processes to enhance efficiency and data accuracy.
  • Ensure full compliance with relevant financial regulations, accounting standards (GAAP/IFRS), internal policies, and company procedures.
  • Actively monitor and ensure adherence to local statutory requirements, making necessary adjustments to meet evolving standards
  • Act as the key liaison with external auditors during year-end audits, overseeing the entire audit process from start to finish.
  • Provide detailed documentation, thorough explanations, and any required insights to facilitate a smooth and successful audit, while addressing any auditor inquiries promptly and effectively.

Requirements: As a Reporting Accountant, you will need…

  • To be a finalist or advanced part-qualified in an accredited accounting qualification (ACCA, ACA, or CIMA).
  • To be efficient at problem-solving and decision-making.
