Day to day of the role:
  • Engage in all aspects of finance, including sales ledger and purchase ledger accounting.
  • Perform reconciliations and handle high volume payment runs with precision.
  • Utilise mainstream accounting systems such as Sage, Xero, or QuickBooks effectively.
  • Communicate with a diverse range of customers and suppliers.
  • Work independently and within a team, taking initiative when necessary.
  • Multitask and meet tight deadlines while maintaining confidentiality.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • At least 3 years of relevant experience in a broad-based accounting role.
  • Analytical and detail-oriented with a passion for achieving organisational targets.
  • Enthusiastic, motivated, and eager to learn and grow within the sector.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Word & Excel.
  • Strong reconciliation skills and experience with high volume payment runs.
  • Excellent attention to detail and the ability to work independently.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
