Due to increased demand for their services, they're looking to bring a Commercial Administrator into the team to assist with the management of their key accounts and commercial requirements.

As a Commercial Administrator, you will play a vital role in supporting the commercial and project delivery teams. This dynamic position requires a detail-oriented individual with strong organisational skills, excellent communication abilities, and a keen understanding of commercial functions in the construction sector.

Commercial Administrator

Key Responsibilities:

  • Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key clients.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for client enquiries and support their needs effectively.
  • Collaborate with the sales and project teams to ensure client satisfaction and address any concerns promptly.
  • Work closely with the estimating department to prepare accurate and timely quotations for clients
  • Coordinate with various teams to gather necessary information for comprehensive and competitive proposals.
  • Communicate any discrepancies or necessary clarifications to the relevant stakeholders.
  • Provide administrative support to project delivery teams, ensuring smooth project execution.
  • Assist in the preparation of project documentation, reports, and presentations as needed.
  • Coordinate the allocation of works to project teams, considering resource availability and project timelines.
  • Manage the booking of accommodation for project personnel, ensuring logistics are well-organised and cost-effective.
  • Work closely with suppliers to ensure timely and cost-effective procurement of materials and services.

  • Proven experience in a similar role, preferably within the construction industry.
  • Strong organisational and multitasking skills with an ability to meet tight deadlines.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
