We are seeking an Information Coordinator to manage and coordinate all requests for information received from the Housing Ombudsman Service within a large Housing Association. This role is crucial in ensuring that accurate information is gathered and submitted within the provided deadlines, and in supporting compliance with the Housing Ombudsman Complaints Handling Code.

Day to Day of the role:

  • Manage and coordinate all information requests from the Housing Ombudsman, ensuring deadlines are met with complete and accurate submissions.
  • Oversee emails from the Housing Ombudsman to the Customer Experience Team’s shared mailbox, resolving all queries promptly.
  • Advocate for the complaints policy and procedure, promoting understanding and adherence across the organisation.
  • Maintain clear and professional communication, ensuring all correspondence is logged accurately for record-keeping.
  • Identify potential risks to the organisation’s reputation and collaborate with teams to implement mitigating actions.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • In-depth knowledge of the Housing Ombudsman Complaint Handling Code.
  • Resilience and capability to work under pressure to tight timelines.
  • Demonstrable experience in complaint handling and working in a compliance environment.
  • Good understanding of housing practices and procedures.
  • Strong planning and organisational skills to maintain priorities and meet deadlines.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
