Our client is a nationally recognised UKAS accredited Asbestos Consultancy with a strong presence in the South East region. They are now seeking to take on a qualified and competent Asbestos Surveyor / Analyst to join their longstanding team. You will be working on Commercial, Education, Public Sector, Healthcare and Local Authority sites, carrying out the full range of Asbestos Surveying and Analytical services in line with HSG 264 / HSG 248 guidelines. Our client can offer the successful candidate generous salary, enrolment onto the company pension scheme and the opportunity to cross train into other environmental sectors.
Consideration will be given to candidates from: Southend-on-Sea, Brentwood, Cheshunt, Chelmsford, Braintree, Colchester, Dartford, Gillingham, Maidstone, Tonbridge, Canterbury, Orpington, Rainham, Croydon.
Experience & Qualifications:
" Holding the BOHS P402, P403, P404 or RSPH equivalent is essential to the role.
" Will have experience working for a UKAS accredited Asbestos Consultancy.
" Experience working in line with HSG 264 / HSG 248 guidelines.
" IT literate, able to use TEAMS / TRACKER systems.
" Will be flexible and adaptable.
The Role:
" Carrying out management, R&D & re-inspection surveys on a mixed portfolio of sites.
" Conducting 4 stage clearances.
" Undertaking smoke, leak, re-occupation, background and personal air testing.
" Ensuring work is carried out in line with HSG 264 / HSG 248 guidelines.
" Using TEAMS / TRACKER systems to produce detailed, site-specific reports.
" Providing clients with consultancy advice and support when required.
