As an Operations Material Controller you will control the flow of material within the Productionenvironmentin a time framethat supports the Master Production Schedule (MPS).
Responsibilities include:
- Organising and issuing materials to the manufacturing area.
- Maintaining traceability of all materials and finished goods produced.
- Contributing to the creation and update of the Master production Schedule
- Organising the return to vendor of faulty or incorrect materials
- Working with engineers to ensure build standard integrity is maintained.
- Generating and managing works orders for new build and repair activities.
- Ensuring material is available in line with the master production schedule.
- Generation of shipping documentation
- Booking of UK and export shipments via freight forwarders/couriers
- Organising the processing of customer repairs
- Monitoring of shelf life product
- Control and reporting of Government furnished assets
- Liaising with external suppliers and customers
- Management inventory
- SAP system issue resolution
- No Experience is required as we have a robust trainingand development packagewhich will take you through all aspects of the Material Management process anddeliverswhat is expectedfrom youat each stage. We require someone who is an organised logical thinker, numerate, willing to learn and a proactive self-starter.
