We are seeking experienced Multi Trade Operatives to join the responsive repairs team of a reputable local contractor, providing high-quality maintenance services across social housing properties in Basildon, Essex.
Responsibilities:
- Carrying out reactive and planned maintenance on residential and commercial properties.
- Installing, repairing, and replacing doors, windows, skirting boards, and other wooden fixtures.
- Addressing minor plumbing issues such as fixing leaks, replacing taps, and fitting pipework.
- Patch repairs, skimming walls, and applying finishes where needed.
- Performing wall and floor tiling, including grouting and re-sealing.
- Preparing surfaces and applying paint, wallpaper, and other finishes.
- Fitting and repairing vinyl, laminate, and carpet tiles.
Requirements:
- City & Guilds or Level 2 NVQ Diploma in Plumbing, or a CSCS Blue Skilled Worker Card (desirable)
- Full UK Driving Licence (held for a minimum of 12 months)
