We are seeking a highly organised Facilities Coordinator to support the delivery of integrated facilities management services. This role requires a proactive, hands-on individual who can provide excellent customer service while overseeing the day-to-day operations of a busy site with both retail and office tenants.
Key Responsibilities for a Facilities Assistant:
- Act as the main liaison for tenants, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations.
- Oversee office floors and surrounding areas to maintain an optimal workplace experience.
- Support the Contract Manager in delivering high-quality service and identifying improvement opportunities.
- Manage office functions, including access cards, procurement, deliveries, and compliance checks.
- Ensure compliance with health & safety regulations, including ISO 14001 & ISO 45001.
- Coordinate planned maintenance, subcontractors, and service charge budgets.
- Assist with DSE assessments, fire safety coordination, and first aid cover.
- Maintain service quality through audits, reporting, and stakeholder communication.
Requirements for a Facilities Assistant:
- Strong understanding of building services and FM processes.
- Excellent organisational and time management skills.
- Customer-focused approach with strong communication abilities.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Experience in compliance, health & safety, and service management.
