We are currently recruiting for a HGV Driver - Class 1 (Nights) - To collect and deliver our customers goods on time every time in a professional manner.
Schedule: Monday to Friday (Night Shift)
Qualifications required:
- Driving Licence (CLEAN)
- Driver CPC qualification card
- Customer service
- English
- Organisational skills
- Category CE Licence
Role Specific Responsibilities
- Basic requirements as identified in the RHA Professional Drivers Handbook
- Drive to a safe standard, considering the size of the vehicle
- Keep within the speed limits for the type and size of the vehicle you are driving
- Ensure that Vehicle daily checks are completed and that any defects are reported
- Report any issues and collect all paperwork from the Traffic Office
- Carry out trunk runs back and forth to our main hubs
- Return all paperwork to the Traffic Office at the end of each shift
- Wear the supplied uniform and correct PPE for each task as required by the Health & Safety Executive. Minimum requirements are Safety Boots and Hi-Viz jacket/vest
What we need from you:
- Class 1 Driving Licence
- Driver CPC qualification card
- Excellent customer facing skills
- Good knowledge of UK geographically
- Confidence to problem solve
- Integrity and professionalism
- 1 year’s experience driving Class 1
