The Role
We are seeking a dynamic, results-driven Sales Executive / Business Development Consultant to join the growing team. This role is ideal for a motivated individual with a strong understanding of international logistics and a proven track record in B2B sales. You will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, nurturing client relationships, and driving revenue growth across our range of freight forwarding and supply chain services. (logistics experience is not essential but some sort of telesales/cold calling experience will be)
Your sole function will be to source opportunities and passing on leads for your Head of Desk to close.
Main Responsibilities
- Sourcing & having at least 120 new leads a day before call times
- Building a sales pipeline, tracking and managing the complete sales process up to handing over to Head of Desk
- Communicating with in/outbound leads via multiple channels (phone, email and social media)
- Recording sales on a CRM system
- Listening to customer requirements and presenting appropriately to make a sale
- Gathering market and customer information
- Challenging any objections with a view to getting the customer to buy
- Advising on forthcoming service developments and discussing special promotions
- Securing new business to meet or exceed the monetary/volume target set
- Gaining a clear understanding of customer's businesses and requirements
- Identifying new trends & commodities to turn into opportunities
Career progression
There are clear targets set from day one, and everyone is eligible for promotion based on hitting very realistic targets. Each promotion comes with a £3,000 pay rise and a higher commission % and the skies is the limit, the current Head of Desks / Sales Directors started as trainees and worked their way up to the top, now managing their own teams
