Social Housing Site Manager

OA is on the lookout for a Social Housing Site Manager to join our client’s thriving and expanding team.

Our client is a well-established, prestigious property management company based in East London. With over 20 years of experience in property procurement and management, they are experiencing significant growth and are keen to bring on board a talented Social Housing Site Manager to help manage their growing portfolio.

This welcoming company operates within Local Authority frameworks across London and the Southeast, managing a variety of homes. They are looking for a proactive and enthusiastic individual to join their fast-paced and dynamic team of property managers.

Location: Basildon

Hours: Full-time, 9am – 5:50pm, Monday to Friday. Onsite.

Salary: £26,000-£30,000 – depending on experience.

Social Housing Site Manager- Benefits:

Social Housing Site Manager- Key Responsibilities:

  • Handling queries related to property maintenance and repairs.
  • Managing a total of 89 flats.
  • Conducting daily inspections of the building.
  • Coordinating bookings for new tenants moving into the building.
  • Inspecting individual flats to ensure standards are met.
  • Managing void properties and overseeing re-lets.
  • Facilitating tenant check-outs, including all required documentation.
  • Monitoring and ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
  • Carrying out regular checks of communal areas to maintain cleanliness, safety, and functionality.

Social Housing Site Manager- Skills and Experience:

  • Highly organised, detail-oriented, and able to prioritise tasks in a busy environment.
  • Proactive and able to take initiative to solve problems effectively.
  • Personable with excellent communication skills, capable of building positive relationships with tenants and colleagues.
  • Experienced in property management or social housing, with at least 2 years of relevant experience.
  • Knowledgeable about health and safety regulations and committed to ensuring compliance.
  • Familiar with void property management and tenant processes, including check-ins and check-outs.
