JB322: Project ManagerLocation: LaindonSalary: £55,000 - £60,000 per annumOverview:First Military Recruitment are currently seeking a Project Manager on behalf of one of our clients.Our client encourages applications from ex-military personnel however all candidates will be given due consideration.Duties and Responsibilities for the Project Manager:

• Managing all aspects and types of projects through the business, from large production lines to small table-top units
• Meet overall project objectives for quality, delivery and cost
• Manage & resolve key project risks & issues
• Maintain a clear understanding of the current scope of work throughout the project & manage the commercial impact of any changes
• Liaising with internal departments to ensure that projects run smoothly and that technical information is passed on correctly
• Corresponding with customers and suppliers on technical issues

Skills and Qualifications for the Project Manager:

• A project manager with an appreciation for project engineering
• Experience of managing projects in a technical environment, ideally with extended project life cycles (2 years+)
• Familiarity with the pharmaceutical industry sector with an understanding of GMP and validation principles would be advantageous
• Systematic approach to their work with attention to detail
• Excellent at building & maintaining relationships with key client stakeholders
• Strong customer focus
• Able to work effectively with people across departments and shop floor staff
