Description:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Contracts Manager to join a leading company in the flooring sector. This is an exciting opportunity for a Contracts Manager to work on a variety of projects, overseeing all aspects from tender through to completion. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in managing commercial and residential flooring projects, as well as excellent client relationship skills.


As a Contracts Manager, you will be responsible for managing labour, liaising with clients, and ensuring that all projects are completed to the highest standards. You will play a key role in ensuring that timelines and budgets are adhered to, while maintaining a high level of quality and safety across all projects.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and oversee flooring projects from tender through to final delivery.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for clients, ensuring satisfaction and maintaining positive relationships.
  • Coordinate with contractors and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials and resources.
  • Monitor project progress, ensuring that all targets and deadlines are met.
  • Conduct site visits to ensure quality control and compliance with health and safety regulations.
  • Prepare project documentation and reports for senior management.

Skills & Experience:

  • Proven experience as a Contracts Manager in the flooring or related construction industry.
  • Strong understanding of flooring materials and installation techniques.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and work under pressure.
  • Proficient in using digital tools such as Bluebeam for measuring and estimating.
