Parks and Countryside Warden
Location: Basildon, Essex
Hours: 07:30am - 15:30pm
Days: Monday to Friday
Pay rate:£13.07 per hour
This is a Temporary position.
We are looking for determined candidates to join our local authorities parks and countryside team.
Key responsibilities:
- To work as part of a team and individually.
- Undertaking all maintenance and repairs as set out by plans.
- To complete horticultural tasks for example, grass cutting, pruning and litter clearance.
- To assist with open days and events at all sites.
- To patrol sites and report any incidents.
- To assist in improving public spaces.
Key person specification:
- Must have a full UK driving licence.
- Experience using tractor and tractor mounted equipment would be advantageous.
- Good verbal communication skills.
- Good meeting skills.
- Have knowledge of health and safety at all times.
