Data Analyst

Lighthouse Executive are excited to be hiring an experienced Data Analyst for our client working on a remote basis on an initial 6 month fixed term contract, with potential to become permanent.

This opportunity would suit an individual who thrives in a changing, entrepreneurial environment as you will be working closely with a business owner and investor who are at the start of an exciting journey of growth and business transformation.

Ideally you will be available immediately/at short notice as the client is about to acquire a new company and needs expert support in sourcing and analysing key business data from across the company to build central data systems and dashboards to enable them to make strategic decisions quickly and identify areas of priority and risk.

Responsibilities include:

• Map and clean business data sources across the CRM, Accounting, Operations and Marketing.
• Build performance dashboards that identify what’s working, what’s not, and where opportunities
• Work with new Owner/Investor to quickly validate and implement strategies that generate fast cashflow and operational uplift.
• Build cashflow forecasts, debt coverage models, and profitability scenarios to support critical funding decisions.
• Create simple but powerful reports for stakeholders to demonstrate momentum and stewardship/
• Help integrate the tech stack (Xero,CRM,project tools, analytics) to ensure a clean, actionable central point of reference.
• Recommend automations, dashboards, or work flows that will enable smarter,faster decisions.

Key skills and experience required include:

• Excellent level of numeracy—expert experience working with Excel/ Sheets, slicing up P&Ls, and building decision - grade forecasts.
• You’re likely to have experience as a previous role that delivers similar deliverables in a fast-moving environment.
• You will need a strong business acumen and commercial understanding of the data you're working with.
• You are an expert with relevant software and systems e.g. can navigate tools like GA4, PowerBI, Looker, Xero or Zapier/Notion.
• Previous experience working in a scale up, turnaround business is advantageous due to the nature of this role and business.
