A wonderfully led and resourced Primary School in Basildon, Essex are seeking a passionate Teaching Assistant to join them in November or December 2024 on a full time basis to work with children who have additional needs and need additional nurturing and support to make their school experience as positive as possible!
This is a full time, long term role until at least July 2025. It will start off initially on long term supply and then move onto a permanent contract for the right person.

This primary school is located in the heart of Basildon, Essex with excellent transport links so coming to work should be quite straight forward - there is also a staff car park for those who drive.
This primary school are seeking a Teaching Assistant that has a fantastic willingness to learn and has a real desire to work with children with additional needs/ SEN.
They can offer excellent training and support no matter of your experience. As long as you are passionate and have a drive to make a difference, this primary school will support you. They can also pave a pathway to a long term career in working with children with SEN such as Teacher training, Occupational Therapy, Speech & Language Therapy, Social work to name a few careers!
For this Teaching Assistant role in Basildon, Essex, this primary school are open to graduates as well as experienced Teaching Assistants.

The Ideal Teaching Assistant Would:
- Have a genuine passionate working with children with SEN
- Driven to improve the education and life chances of children and young people
- Be able to support pupils 1:1 and in small groups
- Be a positive role model and offer encouragement & promote confidence
- Assist with planning of activities with class teacher & SENCO
- Help with general class teaching assistant duties
