Prime Appointments are currently working with a leading Manufacturer based in Basildon who are looking for an experienced Electrical Control Panel Technician to join their fast growing team.
After recently securing a busy order book, this company is expected to grow massively in the near future. Working alongside the Electrical Design Engineers and the Automation Technicians, you will receive top training and development opportunities.
As an Electrical Control Panel Technician, you will be required to:
- Build, wire and install control panels as a part of the automation department.
- Arrange chassis plates according to the panel layouts, collaborating with the Electrical Design Draughtsman to achieve the optimal panel layout and design.
- Install components onto the chassis plate and secure them as needed.
- Assemble the control panel enclosure, including building plinths, assembling bays, and fitting side panels.
- Follow the issued wiring diagrams to wire the control panel, working closely with the Electrical Design Draughtsman and Automation Technician.
Ideally, we are looking for a technician who is familiar with automated production machinery or similar equipment - however this is not essential.
