Our client, a leading organisation in the Manufacturing & Production industry, is seeking an enthusiastic Electrical Control Panel Technician to join their dynamic team in Basildon. This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a state-of-the-art facility.

What You'll Do:

  • Collaborate with Automation Technicians to create electrical wiring diagrams for innovative control systems.
  • Build, wire, and install control panels while ensuring compliance with design specifications.
  • Assemble control panel enclosures, including constructing plinths and chassis layout.
  • Work closely with the Electrical Design Draughtsman to optimise panel layout and design.
  • Troubleshoot and mark up wiring diagrams, addressing any discrepancies with team members.
  • Install control panels into filling lines and machines, ensuring seamless integration.

What We're Looking For:

  • Essential: Formal Electrical Engineering Qualification (e.g., apprenticeship).
  • Desirable: Experience with automated production machinery or involvement in cross-functional project teams.
