We are seeking a skilled Electrical Control Panel Builder to join client in Basildon.
Key Responsibilities of the Electrical Control Panel Builder :
- Work with the Automation Department to build, wire, and install electrical control panels.
- Review required panel components against wiring diagrams and layouts.
- Assemble control panel enclosures, including building plinths, assembling bays, and side panels.
- Layout chassis plates and collaborate with Electrical Design Draughtsmen for optimal panel layout.
- Install components onto chassis plates and wire the control panels following the issued wiring diagrams.
- Mark up wiring diagrams as wiring is completed and report any errors to the Electrical Design Draughtsman and Automation Technician.
- Cut apertures in control panels to accommodate fans, filters, and power sockets.
- Collaborate with Automation Installation Electricians to install control panels into production lines and machinery.

Essential Experience & Knowledge for this Electrical Control Panel Builder role:
- Formal Electrical Engineering qualification (e.g., apprenticeship).
Desirable Experience & Knowledge:
- Experience working with automated production machinery or other capital equipment.
- Experience working in a project environment with cross-functional teams.
Salary:
- 35,000 - 38,000
