Job Summary:A skilled and experienced Electrical Maintenance Manager is sought to lead and manage the electrical maintenance team. The role will involve overseeing daily operations, including quoting for reactive maintenance, scheduling, and managing certifications, ensuring compliance with all regulatory standards. The successful candidate will work closely with the NICEIC Qualifying Supervisor (QS) to maintain high safety and service standards.
Key Responsibilities:• Quoting & Estimating - Provide accurate quotations for reactive maintenance based on site assessments, considering materials, labour, and costs.• Compliance Management - Collaborate with the NICEIC QS to ensure all activities are compliant with current regulations and certifications are maintained.• Scheduling & Allocation - Efficiently allocate and schedule maintenance engineers to ensure timely completion of tasks while optimising workforce deployment across multiple sites.• Quality Assurance & Reporting - Monitor work quality, conduct site audits, and ensure compliance with health and safety standards.• Client & Stakeholder Communication - Act as the main point of contact for clients, managing relationships, addressing concerns, and providing updates on job statuses.• Team Leadership & Development - Lead, mentor, and develop the electrical maintenance team, ensuring continuous professional development and compliance training.
Qualifications and Skills:• Education & Experience - Relevant electrical qualification (e.g., HND, NVQ Level 3) and proven experience in electrical maintenance management.• Technical Skills - Strong knowledge of electrical codes, safety regulations, and experience with maintenance management software.• Leadership & Communication - Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
