Job Description: My client is seeking a skilled and experienced Panel Wiring Technician to join their dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for wiring and assembling control panels and cabinets for their machinery. This role requires a keen eye for detail, a strong understanding of electrical systems, and the ability to work efficiently to meet project deadlines.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assemble and wire control panels according to technical drawings and specifications.
- Perform electrical testing and troubleshooting to ensure functionality and safety.
- Collaborate with the engineering team to resolve any design or assembly issues.
- Maintain a clean and organised workspace, adhering to health and safety standards.
- Document and report any modifications or deviations from the original design.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Panel Wiring Technician or similar role.
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems and components.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Relevant qualifications in electrical engineering or a related field are desirable.
