Finance Manager - Retail/Wholesale - Basildon - Up to £70,000 per annum
The client are looking for a strong Finance Professional, with both management reporting and finance business partnering experience, to join a Private Equity backed, leading wholesale business as a Finance Manager, supporting the MD and Commercial Director.
The Role
- As part of a larger group, this individual will be responsible for regularly reporting a variety of information, including forecasts, budgets, and quarterly trading positions, in alignment with the group's requirement
- Reporting - You will be part of a much larger group, which means regularly reporting a wide array of information in line with the rest of the group such as forecasts, budgets, flash and quarterly trading positions
- Day to Day Finance - A relatively small part of the role, have a consistent team currently in place, but you will oversee and look to implement improvements
- Business Systems & Process - The business has some fantastic systems you will need to master and maintain on an ongoing basis, as well as supporting and implementation of new process and improvements
- Business Partnering The Managing Director and Commercial Director are seeking a financially savvy partner to collaborate with them in shaping the business. This individual should be comfortable engaging with all levels of the organisation, from operational teams to C-suite executives, and possess a strong understanding of managing senior stakeholders
- Commercial - The business plays within a number of markets in various ways with various products. This individual will need to get a firm grasp of the commercial environment and drive bespoke information out to the wider business that will help support decision making and provoke thought
