Finance Manager

Reed Accountancy & Finance are delighted to have partnered exclusively with a global leader of innovative solutions who are searching for a Finance Manager to join their UK site, based at Basildon. 

In this all-encompassing role, you will be responsible for the UK finance function, including transactional, management and statutory accounting. 

Location: Basildon, Essex (hybrid)

Salary: Circa £40,000 per annum

Hours: 9am to 5pm (flexibility considered)

Your role will include:

• AP, AR and reconciliations.
• Monthly stocktake adjustments.
• Monthly management accounts and year end accounts, assisting with audit.
• Managing and overseeing all bank accounts, including credit cards.
• Credit Control – chasing overdue invoices.
• Calculating rebates for customers/trusts who have contracts.
• Payroll including pension administration, commission calculations, payment of expenses and calculating daily allowances and private miles on the Company cars.
• Processing expenses and chasing for receipts where required.
• Providing usage figures and any other ad hoc reports as requested.
• VAT returns.
• Reconciling multicurrency accounts and working across different entities.

In this dynamic and progressive role, you will be supported by the UK Director as well as the Global CFO.
