We are looking for a Finance Professional, with both management reporting and finance business partnering experience, to join a Private Equity backed, Leading Wholesale Building Material business as a Finance Manager. Paying £70k and based in Basildon (4 days a week in the office), this position will involve business partnering with the Managing Director as well as the Commercial Director.

The Role

As part of a larger group, this individual will be responsible for regularly reporting a variety of information, including forecasts, budgets, and quarterly trading positions, in alignment with the group's requirements.
Business Partnering- The Managing Director and Commercial Director are seeking a financially savvy partner to collaborate with them in shaping the business. This individual should be comfortable engaging with all levels of the organisation, from operational teams to C-suite executives, and possess a strong understanding of managing senior stakeholders.
This role involves overseeing the daily financial operations, which is a smaller aspect due to the straightforward nature of the business and the consistent team in place.
Commercial Insight- The business operates across various markets with diverse products. The individual will need to develop a solid understanding of the commercial landscape and generate tailored insights that support decision-making and stimulate critical thinking within the organisation.

Your Profile

Extensive Finance Business Partnering and Management Accounting experience is essential.
You will ideally be a qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA or CIMA).
Prior experience within a subsidiary where management reporting to the parent company is required, is advantageous but not a prerequisite.
