Location: Basildon, Essex (Free Onsite Parking)
Role: Full-Time, Permanent | 3 Days Office-Based, 2 Days Remote
Salary: £45,000-£55,000 neg

As our Finance Manager, your responsibilities will include:

• Overseeing financial operations and compliance with UK accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
• Supporting leadership with financial planning, analysis, and strategic insights.
• Managing client-related financial processes with precision and professionalism.
• Leading projects like general ledger migrations and process improvements.
• Streamlining reporting, automating workflows, and ensuring the integrity of financial data.

We're looking for a proactive, detail-oriented finance professional with the following skills and experience:

Essential Skills & Behaviours:

• Strong analytical mindset and advanced Excel skills.
• Experience with accounting software like Sage or Xero, including reporting and automation.
• Ability to handle multiple priorities and work to tight deadlines.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• A self-starter attitude with a passion for challenging the status quo and improving processes.
• Integrity, attention to detail, and a commitment to excellence.

Experience & Knowledge:

• ACA, ACCA, or CIMA qualification (or equivalent).
• Proven success in finance roles within financial services, wealth management, or a related sector.
• Familiarity with UK GAAP and FCA compliance/reporting (highly desirable).
• Hands-on experience managing end-to-end accounting functions in smaller organisations.
