I am working with a business in Basildon to recruit their next Finance Manager.
Working with an inspirational Financial Director you will be able to make this role your own whilst managing a small finance team.
As Finance Manager your role will include:
- Preparation of the group consolidated management accounts
- Investigation of any variances
- Preparation of quarterly balance sheet
- Cash flow reporting
- Management of the finance team
- Stock management and reporting
- Review of monthly payroll reports
- Review of Sales and Purchase Ledger ensuring allocations are up to date
- Maintenance of internet banking software, liaison with the bank and responsibility for authorising payments
- Quarterly VAT returns
This is a broad role so it is important that your CV demonstrates broad accounting experience. You will be managing a small finance team and using Sage Line 200 and Sage Payroll. You should have a "can do" attitude, with this being a SME business it is important you will get to know the roles of all of your team and support when it is needed.
The FD prides themselves on supporting the team. This business offers a wonderful working environment whilst working 9-5. For the first few months of the role it is expected you would be based on site whilst you learn the business and work with the team but hybrid working will be available after this.
This role can pay circa £55-58K + a Company Car.
