We are seeking a Finance Manager to play a pivotal role in overseeing our end-to-end finance operations. This position involves managing budgeting, cash flow, compliance, and risk management. The Finance Manager will ensure financial accuracy and regulatory compliance, supporting overall business performance.
Day-to-day of the role:- Manage the finance team and oversee all financial operations including balance sheet reconciliations, accruals, and prepayments.
- Prepare Group monthly consolidated management accounts and report to the group with strict deadlines.
- Ensure accurate payroll presentation to the payroll provider and review monthly payroll reports.
- Oversee monthly VAT returns, tax filings, and adherence to financial regulations.
- Monitor and manage working capital to optimise cash flow and ensure sufficient liquidity for operations.
- Produce accurate budgets and forecasts and act as the key point of contact for internal and external audits.
- Implement controls and process improvements across the finance function.
- Lead projects such as general ledger migrations and automation initiatives.
- Support senior leadership with financial planning, analysis, and reporting.
- Manage client-related financial processes with precision and professionalism.
- Provide detailed analysis on costs, profits, overheads, and day-to-day operations.
- Business partner with all departments to provide financial information for key business decisions.
- Maintain robust financial controls to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Strong knowledge of HMRC compliance.
- Proficiency with finance software.
- Expertise in budgeting, forecasting, cash flow management, VAT, payroll, and financial reporting.
- Excellent stakeholder management skills, capable of working closely with CEOs and directors.
- Proven track record of improving financial processes and systems.
- Strong leadership and communication skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Strong analytical skills and advanced Excel proficiency.
