Key Responsibilities:
- Partner with department leads to provide financial insights and support strategic goals
- Build strong relationships as the main finance contact across the organisation
- Contribute to management meetings and strategic planning
- Oversee budgeting and forecasting to align with company objectives
- Review financial performance, deliver reports, and provide recommendations
- Identify cost-saving and revenue-growth opportunities
- Develop financial models to assess performance and guide decisions
- Conduct scenario analyses to evaluate opportunities and risks
- Present data-driven insights to senior management
- Produce accurate, timely financial reports for stakeholders
- Review budgets with department heads, track trends, and address variances
- Provide strategic financial advice to optimise outcomes
- Ensure compliance with financial regulations and accounting standards
- Support audits and strengthen internal controls
- Lead process improvements using technology for better reporting and analysis
Skills, Experience, and Training Requirements:
- Fully qualified (ACCA or CIMA)
- Extensive experience in finance business partnering
- Highly skilled in analysis and problem-solving, with advanced proficiency in ERP systems and financial tools (e.g., Sage, Excel)
- Proven track record in financial modelling, forecasting, and enhancing business performance
- Excellent communicator with strong stakeholder engagement and relationship-building abilities
- Able to work in dynamic and busy environments
