Forklift Driver - Counterbalance
Hours: 8:00am - 16:00pm
Days: Monday - Friday
Duration: Temporary contract (end of September)
Location: Basildon, Essex
Pay:£13.00 per hour/ weekly pay for you.
We are looking for an experienced and skilled forklift driver to support our client in peak based over in Basildon.
Job specification:
- Lifting and moving boxes into store room.
- Order picking and preparation.
- working alone under the supervision and guidance of management directly - training will be provided and full induction given.
- Operate a counterbalance forklift.
- Stock rotation - training provided accordingly.
- Load and unload stock from UK sized pallets within the storage areas.
- Manually load & unload products by hand.
- Undertake any other reasonable tasks and duties as directed by your line manager.
Person specification:
- Experience of working within a warehouse or a production environment.
- valid & in date Counterbalance Forklift certificate.
- Be familiar with basic Health & Safety and storage safety knowledge.
- Standard speaking of English and basic communication skills.
- Good eye for detail and accuracy.
- Read manifest sheets and orders.
- Heavy lifting can be involved - candidates who apply must be fit and able to load and unload heavy goods.
