Our client a growing organisation in Basildon is looking for an experienced Warehouse Operative& FLT Driver to join their team on a permanent basis. We are specifically looking for someone with counterbalance forklift experience and licenses along with excellent communication skills.
The main focus of your role will be dealing with the day-to-day warehouse and forklift operations for all freight and stock arrivals and departures. This includes assisting with loading and unloading of vehicles, checking against notes to ensure accuracy of receipt or dispatch of goods, checking goods for any damage and booking in all in-bound stock and ensuring it is stored in the correct location. You will also be responsible for picking orders ready for shipping, carrying out daily checks on mechanical equipment and ensuring the warehouse is kept safe, clean and tidy.
Skills and experience required:
- Full valid Forklift license/s (Counterbalance or Reach)
- Good numerical skills
- Ability to work under pressure and to deadlines
- Willing to go the extra mile by starting early or finishing late when required
- Good time keeping
- Positive attitude and good communication skills
- Ability to maintain good relationships with all staff and customers
- Pick Packing Experience using a barcode scanner

This is a full-time permanent position working shifts between 9.00am - 5.30pm Monday to Friday.
You will be working on a "Secure Site" therefore we will need you to show proof of at least 5 years full employment history and be subject to a DBS check.
