My client and international import and export business is looking to recruit an Export Coordinator to be responsible for maintaining and improving customer service levels for a number of offshore accounts within the group and providing office and sales support to field-based Account Managers.
As the Export Coordinator you will be processing and despatching orders, maintaining accounts administration, ie backorders, booking in deliveries etc and liaising with Sales Reps, other sales co-ordinators and internal departments.
You will also be preparing shipping documentation and ensuring compliance with customer requirements, Assessing and costing orders using the Tarric database to calculate duty and determine which documentation is needed as well as obtaining quotes from hauliers for shipping costs for each order and booking with the most applicable one.
Other key responsibilities will include compiling electronic files required for the French Intrastat report, which include import declarations, CMR’s or POD’s, haulier invoices and copies of the customer invoice with the correct declarations on them at the end of each month for the accounts department.
As the Export Coordinator you will need to be highly motivated and organised with word and excel experience preferred. Training will be given on all aspects of the job and you will be working in a small team providing a constant source of back up and assistance.
