We are recruiting for an Exports Coordinator to work within an established, global company. You will be office based within the Basildon office, working full time, Monday - Friday 8.30am - 5.30pm and with a salary of £28,000 - £33,000 depending on your experience. To be successful you must have previous freight forwarding and exports experience, along with working knowledge of Microsoft packages.

Duties will include:

  • Correctly complete all customs import declaration forms
  • Accurately complete all invoicing for exports and clients
  • Procurement of freight rates
  • Immediately report any errors with customs forms
  • Ensure VAT is charged correctly upon invoicing
  • Maintain communication with clients, reporting new sales leads and handover of shipments
  • Credit control duties - follow up late customer payments
  • Ensure all quotations are recorded on the system
  • Generate reports when required
  • Assist management with additional ad hoc duties

You must have a good eye for detail as you will be required to complete spot checks on a weekly basis to ensure all documents are in order, and everything is running smoothly. You must also be flexible to support the team with holiday and sickness cover, occasionally requiring weekend work.
