Import Operator required to join an industry leader within the multimodal freight and brokerage market at their head office located in Basildon.
Our client provides a variety of services to include FCL and LCL, Rail, Road and Air Freight as well as Customs Brokerage and Warehousing to name a few. Import Operator - Position Overview
- Assist with all aspects of looking after the FCL movements (e.g., China, US to the UK)
- Liaison with the company's China Offices.
- Ensure regular communication with all local UK suppliers
- Communicate with customs department in order to arrange customs clearances
- Dealing with the company's other 3PL warehouses as and when required
- Liaison with local transport companies in order to organise final end deliveries
- Knowledge of import customs entry
- Bills of Lading experience
- Excellent customer service experience
Import Operator - Position Remuneration
- Salary - Circa £25K - £30K
- Monday to Friday
- 08:30am - 17:30pm
