Our client, a busy and growing freight forwarding company, is looking for an experienced LCL Export Operator to join their friendly team in Basildon. This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of a dynamic operation with a focus on LCL export shipments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage LCL export bookings and ensure timely and accurate processing of shipments.
- Coordinate with consolidators and manage own container runs, ensuring smooth operations.
- Handle all aspects of export documentation, including customs paperwork and shipping instructions.
- Provide day-to-day operational support, liaising with clients, shipping lines, and suppliers to ensure a seamless service.
- Ensure compliance with all regulations, including customs procedures and export requirements.
- Maintain strong communication within the team and ensure that all client queries are addressed in a timely manner.
Key Requirements:
- Proven experience in LCL export operations.
- Familiarity with consolidators and running own containers is essential.
- Strong knowledge of export bookings, customs processes, and documentation.
- Excellent communication and organisational skills.
- A proactive approach and the ability to work independently when needed.
