We are working with an award-winning construction business in Basildon who are looking for a dynamic, ambitious administrator to join their team! You will be responsible for supporting the Estimating and Health & Safety teams, ensuring the smooth running of both departments. This is an exciting new role for the company so you will have the opportunity work closely with the Directors to really make this your own.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Performing day-to-day administrative tasks to support both departments and suggesting improvements to current reporting processes.
- Maintaining and updating training matrix, trackers, and databases.
- Assisting with reporting and creating presentations.
- Data entry, collation, and documentation preparation.
- Organising information for PQQ submissions.
- Managing the receipt, logging, and distribution of tender enquiries.
- Downloading and organising tender documents.
- Ensuring contractors and suppliers complete the prequalification process.
- Tracking and updating supply chain partner information.
- Compiling required information and tracking Key Performance Indicators for monthly Health and Safety reports.
- Booking training courses as needed.
- Processing grant claims.
- Updating Prostruction Profiles, SSIP portals, and setting up project folders.
- Conducting first aid supply checks and supporting fire safety checks.
About You:
- Previous experience in a similar administrative position.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
- Exceptional organisational skills and the ability to multitask.
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills across all levels.
- A can-do attitude, with a collaborative spirit to work with various departments.
- An enthusiastic and positive approach to health and safety.
- Familiarity with construction terminology and processes is a plus, but not essential as full training will be provided!
