Job Purpose:
As Early Years Assistant Manager, you will:
- Work collaboratively within the nursery management team to inspire and lead staff in providing high-quality, inclusive early years education and care, in line with our policies and procedures
- Serve as a role model, demonstrating sensitive and responsive interactions while extending children’s learning experiences
- Ensure that quality and safety standards are consistently met and maintained
Requirements:
- A minimum Level 3 Early Years Education and Childcare qualification (or equivalent)
- Post-qualification experience working in early education, childcare, or a similar environment
- Strong written communication skills, including the ability to produce clear, concise reports and correspondence for supervisions, business plans, child protection/safeguarding reporting, and recruitment purposes, using Microsoft Word and other computer tools
- The ability to inspire and motivate others, set clear objectives, and maintain high standards for yourself and the team
- An enhanced DBS check will be required if your current certificate is not subscribed to the update service.
This is a full-time, permanent position with 40 hours per week, working 52 weeks a year.
