HR Coordinator - Term Time
We are recruiting for a local client in Basildon who are seeking an experienced HR Coordinator to join their team. The ideal person will be professional and proactive, ensuring that administration is carried out accurately, confidentially and in a timely manner to support the smooth running of the site.
Responsibilities include:
- Maintain accurate, confidential employee records within the HR system
- Administer policies on employee conduct, sickness, absence, and recruitment
- Provide advice and guidance to managers and staff
- Support recruitment and onboarding processes in line with Safer Recruitment policy
- Ensure timely preparation and updates of employee contracts
- Administer starters and leavers checklists, salary updates, and contract changes
- Assist with employee relations, including disciplinary, grievance, and performance management processes
- Prepare annual salary statements and ensure proper filing of documentation
Ideal Candidate:
- CIPD Level 3 or equivalent HR qualification
- Experience in HR within a large organisation
- Strong knowledge of employment law and HR systems (MIS)
- 5+ GCSEs, including Mathematics and English
- Excellent IT skills, including spreadsheets
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to work independently and to deadlines
Salary:                               £27,071 (with performance-based increments)
Working Weeks: Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â 41 weeks (Term Time + 2 Weeks)
Hours:Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â 37 hours/week, Mon-Thurs 8am-4pm, Fri 8am-3:30pm
