We are looking for an experienced Multi skilled Engineer - Mobile Operative (for the delivery of general maintenance / handyperson service).
This is a permanent PAYE role
The position is varied and means you will attend a number of sites spread across mainly London and the Southeast.
The role does include travel (Company van, phone, laptop, travel card and uniform) will be supplied). A full UK driving licence is essential.
Job Specification:
Managing your own time working independantly you are responsible for completing compliance checks, routine maintenance, undertaking repairs.
Need to be proactive and versatile, with multiple duties and responsibilities, including, but not limited to:
Compliance Check: Fire Alarm, emergency light flick test, water temperature checks etc.
Plumbing: To resolve basic problems such as installing new taps and repairing leaks etc.
Electrical: To replace bulbs, rewiring sockets etc.
Repairs: Replace door handles, replace door closers, basic general repairs etc.
Decorating: Painting walls and ceilings, touching up skirting boards and door frames, sanding floors and other wooden surfaces.
Gardening: Mowing lawns, trimming hedges, bushes and trees, weeding, watering flower beds and repairing border walls and fences.
Qualifications
Experience as a multi trader or handyperson is essential and a solid work history is required
Location: preferably based in the Essex Area and surrounding areas but other locations may be be considered.
Must have a valid clean UK driving licence, the role does involve a substantial amount of driving to and from different jobs
Hours - 45 per week
