Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for an Repairs Scheduler / Operations Administrator n Basildon. The Operations Administrator will be responsible for day-to-day administrative tasks, assisting with operations management, providing excellent customer service, and ensuring smooth operations within the company. You will be planning the diaries of all wet trades.

We are based in Basildon, covering all areas of London and Essex. Working for both domestic and commercial customers, we offer an extensive range of services, including all plumbing services and 24/7 emergency call-out with no call-out charge. We also offer planned preventative maintenance programs tailored to suit your organisation/premises

Services include:

24 hour emergency service / Blocked drains / Manholes / WC's / Sinks / Gutters / Waste pipes / WC's / Showers / High pressure jetting / Drain relining / Lateral cutting / Root cutting / Drain sonar tracing & Mapping / Drains repaired / Plumbing / Cold Water Booster Pumps / Sewage Pumps and MORE!

Day to Day:

  • Schedule works into diaries for operatives daily ensuring diaries are full and immediate attention is given to allocate work to operatives when they become free.
  • Check the system for emergencies and manage within a timely manner to ensure targets are meet
  • Respond to telephone variations by seeking approval from duty surveyor so operatives may continue on the site through to completion
  • Provide a high quality service to our client on a face to face basis
  • Working within a team to achieve goals and targets achieving daily targets of a minimum of 60 allocations each day of new orders

Essential Criteria

  • Social Housing and Repair and Maintenance background.
  • Experience in planning/scheduling jobs using planning system.
  • Understanding of the various trades and jobs normally allocated to direct labour staff or subcontractors
  • Experience of trade job durations
  • Experience of health and safety considerations when planning e.g. asbestos
  • No hybrid working, must be able to work from amin office located in Basildon
  • Good level of written English e.g. ability to rite responses to complaints
  • Good computer skills
