About the Role
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic and dedicated Subject Specialist Teacher (Maths, English, Science or Languages) to join a secondary school in Basildon. As a Subject Specialist Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality lessons, contributing to the development of the curriculum, and supporting students in achieving their academic potential. You will work collaboratively with a dedicated team of educators, ensuring that students are motivated and supported in their learning journey.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging and effective lessons in your subject area, tailored to the needs of all students.
- Monitor and assess student progress, providing constructive feedback to aid improvement.
- Contribute to the development and planning of the subject curriculum.
- Collaborate with colleagues to enhance teaching and learning across the school.
- Foster positive relationships with students, encouraging their academic and personal growth.
- Participate in professional development to further enhance teaching skills and subject knowledge.
- Maintain open communication with parents and guardians to support student progress.
